This was just like Highlander, minus the action, adventure, majestic flashbacks and scenery, arguably the best villain ever. But other than that it was identical.

The flashbacks are like half the movie of Highlander. Who would be the mentor in this film?

Nope! She wasn't immortal. And she couldn't fight. And there was no one who wanted to kill her. And she didn't come form another planet. And she wasn't Scottish.

I did think of Highlander while watching, but not really because of any similarities other than the "not aging" thing.

lol that's kinda why I said the "except for" part and listed most of Highlander's main themes
