harrison's breathing

I loved this movie, think Blake Lively was a complete stunner. The thing that took away from the movie for me was Harrison Ford's breathing. It was so heavy, it took over every scene he was in. He definitely needs to get that septum fixed up!
I just find him old and cranky now and don't enjoy him as a leading man - growls through every scene. Time to replace him.

I disagree... still one of my favorite actors.

I have never liked him in anything. I don't think he's a particularly good actor. He's wooden, IMO. How he became famous baffles me. Maybe he's just good at sucking up to powerful people in the film business.

Also, I don't think he's really a very nice person. In every interview of him that I've seen, he seemed arrogant & unpleasant - at his best, he's borderline unpleasant. He just strikes me as an unhappy, negative person - I've thought this since he was young & he's only worse in his old age...which is pretty typical of most people. As people age, both their negative traits & their good qualities become more pronounced.

I think he's been cranky all his life...and worse, humorless. Actually, if it wasn't for being cranky, arrogant & unpleasant, he wouldn't have any personality at all, IMO.

Sing until your throat hurts, dance until your legs hurt, act until you're William Hurt.

You must be crazy. Harrison Ford is far from being wooden. You simply don't like him and that's ok, but wooden does not go well with Harrison Ford.

I think that "how he became famous" was a couple of movies called Star Wars & Indiana Jones

reply

Why didn't Harrison Ford play himself as the young William Jones during his shoot of "American Graffiti"........😀

I agree he did get too gaspy. He was overacting a bit. But he saved an otherwise trash movie for the short while h was in it.

That's called growing old...
