If Susan Delgado is in this, then so should Rhea as they are such a big part of each other's fates.
Or is this another "loosely based on" crap like the Shannara abortion we got? Hmm as if having Idris Elba as Roland doesn't make it a big enough joke as it is.
It is best to gather facts before letting a bitter assumption loose.
Given that a television series based on Wizard and Glass is presently being worked on behind the scenes, I say there is a fair chance the venerable witch will make an appearance later on rather than in this adaptation-sequel.

Why do you believe that to be so?

I agree with the Captain. I'm assuming that Susan will just be featured in like, brief flashbacks or the like since the story is supposed to be based on The Gunslinger and not Wizard and Glass.
Yeah well, I HAD to put it out there considering how *beep* everything turns out to be these days. And seeing how Stephen King isn't exactly staunch when it comes to his own material (likes the mighty dollar), I was corcerned when rumors of Vigo Mortensen's involvement started circling...........now I find out it's even worse than him.
Tons of people have already discussed the reason why at length, I'm not in the mood to rehash everything. Safe to say I won't even bother torrenting this one.
No, you really didn't. You had a choice on whether or not to increase the amount of bitterness in the world by putting that incomplete conclusion out there.

Funnily enough, many fans were pining for Mortensen to play Roland of Gilead. This just goes to show that people were going to complain no matter who was cast.

Also, say what you will about Stephen King, but he is known for having an almost philanthropic attitude toward the sales of his material. He has sold the rights to some of his stories for as little as $1 to new directors trying to make a name for themselves. The dude has sold millions of books. He ain't exactly struggling. Its hard for me to believe that he just decided to get greedy now in his life...
We're all entitled to our opinions, of course, and you're not the first to have surmised this all has to do with money. I just disagree.
Stephen King famously sells his rights for $1. For the Dark Tower, Sony had a little fun and bought the rights for $19.19. So you're wrong. Sorry about your Terry Brooks saga but the majority of the DT fans here fans are excited about direction of the movie and show. Also if you gonna come with some lame comments about Elba come with a little alacrity. Stand behind you're comments and tell us why you hate the choice. Trust me, there are a lot of people here that would love to hear it. Instead you decide to go Spider-lite. For shame.
