Does DT even have broad appeal?

I mean its a cult fanbase for a reason. Its just such a weird story. Its hit and miss for a lot of people. That's what worries me the most about this movie. Roland is not Batman or Deadpool. I just don't think non-readers will care about this movie. The books are my favorite stories ever. Im a big fan. Im just so darn worried. But it does have a small budget. That's its biggest advantage.

I'm more worried about your IMDb account being born three hours ago.
The board I normally frequent would call you a sock-account or a Troll.

Anyhey, the Dark Tower novels are much more than just a cult favorite since practically every Stephen King novel has sat atop every Bestsellers list, which means any of his film adaptations would either 'break-the-bank' or 'break-even'....or as Eddie Dean would say: "...close enough for government work."
Batman and Deadpool are cartoon comics.

Alright that eases my mind a bit. Im just dying for a trailer. Just to see the characters come alive after all these years. I guess it's up to KA how it will all turn out.

This movie will appeal to broads. I know the best broads. They love guns, they love the two hunky leads.. Broads are gonna love this movie, believe me.

reply

Yeah your right. Just imagine the response Cuthbert will get in the TV show. They will love him hahaha.
