Release Date Will Get Pushed

Bet on it.

reply

That already happened.

reply

That's not uncommon, sadly. But I've been getting the same impression, too.

reply

Weren't people complaining about the February release date? Now, they'll complain about this too.

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing .

reply

Well, it's just speculation that it'll be pushed back, but if the reasons are justifiable, push it back! By all means. If it'll give us a better quality movie and a better chance to promote the franchise, by all means! If the alternative means to rush it into the theater without caring if the finished product is ready, then please push it back!

reply

Agreed. The movie is happening, period. If they need to push it back a few months - for whatever reason - I'm OK with that. Better than the studio pushing it out too soon and it being an obvious reason for under preforming.

However I feel about this adaptation, I'm still excited to see what is done and get an idea for how the rest of the series will go. There will be complainers if that happens, but if the studio feels it is necessary then I can stand behind it. And it wouldn't be surprising as little word as we've had about the release yet (marketing). Perhaps that's the reason why!

reply

I think you might be right... As others have said though... If it's for the greater good I'm all for it! It's not like we haven't already been waiting for the last 15 years!

reply

Should push it back to never and dump the whole thing. Then they can start again and do it right.

reply

Its on track, in so far as I can tell. They finished filming in August, which gives them six months for post-production, which is tight but doable.

reply

2016 is a crowded year. Were would they move it too?

reply

Sorr meant 2017

reply

If it gets pushed back as far as April, that shows an increase in faith by the producers.

I would agree.
