I'm embarrassed for Dark Tower fans that you (and a few others) even frequent this board.

You have successfully succeeded in making me depressed about the Dark Tower series in general.

What was once magical for me....is now just *beep* depressing.

Everytime I visit this board, I feel like I am inundated with negativity from one of you three.

God forbid anyone enjoy this magical work of fiction....which you have taken to a serial killer level of magical realism.

if either of you three died in a fire, I would celebrate.

On a side note this thread has beat the previous winner of the most pathetic thread from the guy who tried to claim that Roland was never white in the books. It's literally a thread to complain at people for not mindlessly praising this trainwreck and wishing people dead for not being as easily pleased as the op is. With a strange lack of criticism for the op for saying that, but I'm sure you would all just be ignoring that if someone against the film said that about anyof the sad little group of defenders on here.

Yeah, great argument. People who believe in an accurate adaptation of a novel to a film should now kill themselves and eat your feces and everyone ks fine with that? I am no mindless believer. I do wish we were getting an exact adaptation, but we aren't. Instead of stewing in negativity, I'm trying to be optimistic toward this film. I've adequately expressed my opinions over and over on this board. I am more than happy to have a discussion with you, but most of the time you do not remain civil about it. You and your fellows just can't accept a black man as Roland and cry about not getting the exact adaptation. You've got nothing else. I also wosh we were getting an actor who represented Roland in the book, but we aren't. Nothing can be done about it now but to adapt and go with it.

Your judgement s on the film are your own, but I can't judge a film fully till I've seen the film. I'm not quite keen on the released trailer either, but it wasn't finished so I'm trying to hold back for now. I see many thing in it that give me cause for concern, but I have no context yet. When the film comes out I'll gladly break it down, scene by scene with you.

Again, I'm no mindless supporter. The difference between us is that even tho I'm not happy with everything I've seen, I can still discuss the book and adaptation with civility and respect toward my fellow board members. A Trump supporter? Ha!? I've seen you tossing that castigation around wildly lately, as if anyone who disagrees with you is automatically a Trump supporter Which, IMO, is a pretty serious charge. As if anyone who is willing to give the movie a chance is a racist bigot pedophile p*$$y grabber. You're disgusting, bud. You need help.
