...it might have been something memorable. But with the writer of Batman & Robin penning the thing, a television crossover formula, and a PC agenda behind the curtains, this franchise is going to fall flat on its face. And mark my words, bookmark this post, the MAJORITY of DT fans, especially the hardcore ones, are going to flat-out disown this turd. Hell, I've talked to a handful of casual fans that aren't even going to support this film in the theater, due to its lack of resemblance to the Gunslinger book, in particular. What a wasted opportunity.

....Or you could be wrong. Maybe it's a big hit wih fans and non fans alike. Maybe Elba wins a Oscar, and this becomes the most beloved fantasy movie since The Lord of the Rings.

I don't THINK this is going to happen, but then again I haven't SEEN the movie.

True, but it is no fun anticipating a movie you think is going to be bad, or speculating on how bad said movie is going to be. This really could go either way.
