Just about to finish Book 4.
Should I now read Book 4.5 or 5 next?
Cheers!

Hey Brendo! To be honest, unlike most of the fans, I've never yet read Wind Through the Keyhole. I figured once I've finished up the series again, I'll go ahead and tack that on at the end, and also try to pick up some of the graphic novels to fill in gaps.
Not sure if that helps since I'm not exactly speaking from a place of experience, but since the others recommended staying on course (so to speak) I'd say I was doing it right, lol!
Hope you're enjoying the journey. Tomorrow (a.k.a. husband's payday as mine is nearly a week away) I'm going to download Wizard and Glass and I'm super excited. I know it's one of the (if not just THE) best books I've ever read.
Thanks all. I didnt mind Wizard and Glass but I am keen to get back on the path of the beam!
Mayhap I will read it after i complete the series. ??
If you enjoyed W&G, there's no harm in continuing with Wind through the Keyhole as imo it really belongs in W&G anyway. It's a fairly short book that is quick and easy to read too. But if you want to get back to the quest, skip it. It's fun to have it there to revisit Roland after the end of the series.
shareGive The Wind Through the Keyhole a read after you have concluded your journey through the main series.

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing .
Please don't listen to any of these people, Stephen king himself called the wind through the keyhole Dark Tower 4 1/2, it is a great story, I would definitely read it before wolves.
sharetoo late!
I have already started wolves.
I am thinking of taking a break from the dark tower books seeing as the moive has been pushed back!
I am enjoying it but I am up to about my 100th hour on the audio books!!
I'm actually lollygagging right now. I want to start W&G, but it's a very emotional read for me and I'm binge watching Law and Order SVU every evening until I'm too tired to read, lol! I'll get to it soon, but I have to make sure I try to keep a stiff upper lip. It's not like I don't know what'll happen... but some stories still get me every time.
shareHaha my Foxtel IQ is full off SVU to catch up on too. Great show.
Not enough time in the day!
I have an hour each way commute to work every day. So he audiobooks are a lifesaver. I smash through a 20 hour novel in 2 weeks easily!
