That's all I'm saying. We can discuss its merits or lack thereof AFTER its release. And I'm also enjoying the other parts of this board with people discussing finer points of the original books. Love those discussions. But folks for the love of God WAIT UNTIL IT'S ACTUALLY ON A SCREEN SOMEWHERE before passing judgment!
I don't know if you're aware of this but I've already changed things. I killed Ben Linus. --Sayid
Include me, too, Jo! Ha, I'm not an optimist per se, but I'm not a pessimist either. Harsh for me too! Especially if the movie is less than we all *want*
I'll I'm looking for is an average adaptation. I'm trying to expect nothing and find the good in it. But... I also see it from the otherside (like, I speak the language of both sides maybe?).
I dunno... but boy am I tired of certain types of posts at this point.
For the same reason some people want to set the world on fire, just to watch it burn. The Joker didn't scheme or kill people for some master plan. He just wanted to see what happens...
I wouldn't think Tyler was this sort if he actually held a conversation instead of just stating the same things over and over without civil discussion. He reaps what he sows, like the rest of the human race.
The director is sh*t, the casting is horrendous. It's made on the cheap and no one involved has even so much as glanced at the books. When something screams trainwreck you don't delude yourself into thinking otherwise, well the defenders of the film on this board do but most of them are hypocritical morons anyway so that's not surprising.
You wanted (and still want) people involved in the production of this film to lose their jobs and/or be involved in accidents so that this film would never see the light of day.
I suppose that makes you morally - in addition to intellectually - superior?
