True. That said, I would love to hear Hawkwind - Golden Void blasting as Roland ascends the tower and re-enters the desert as the singer starts singing: "warrior on the edge of time"!
I usually listen to jazz, classical, hip-hop (mainly '80s and '90s), hip-hop instrumentals, pop, R&B, soul (classic and neo-soul), funk, some rock (mainly classic or alternative), movie scores, video game soundtracks, and anime soundtracks. There are probably more genres I'm forgetting though lol.
I have pretty eclectic sound tastes. Here is a list of personal favorites to give you an idea(in no particular order):
Leonard Cohen Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Screamin' Jay Hawkins The Smashing Pumpkins Beck Johann Sebastian Bach Gustav Holst Richard Wagner George Clinton and the Parliament-Funkadelic Beastie Boys Bad Boy Bill The Beatles Tricky Daft Punk Gorillaz Pyotr Tchaikovsky Raymond Scott Outkast Wu-Tang Clan Queen A Tribe Called Red AC/DC KMFDM Aural Vampire Buddy Holly Bill Haley & His Comets Johnny Cash Patsy Cline Janis Joplin Jimi Hendrix Blondie The Cranberries
...and I'll stop there for now. Although, I've also recently gotten into swing house/electro swing and my two favorites artists so far are: Parov Stelar and Caravan Palace.

There is a relatively new genre(about twenty years, young enough where a name for the genre is only about 10 years old)--"alt-country" a fusion of country and punk or metal that I've developed an interest in. The style gets a lot of play on TV shows like Sons of Anarchy (2008)
Damion Crowley Who knows but that, on the lower frequencies, I speak for you.--R.E.
