I was very saddened to hear it. So sorry for her young daughter, her family and her dogs whom she seemed to love dearly... 

One positive is that she, unlike Alec Guinness, wasn't annoyed/frustrated with Star Wars fans in much the same way...or at least to the same degree...that he was.

I was shocked by the news. It's really scary when a childhood icon dies. I mean, I remember well in the 80's, playing action figures with my cousin, wanting to always be Princess Leia in every sense. Knowing that one of my favorite princesses from my youth is gone is a somewhat glancing blow, I confess.

Ah well. I'll do my best to maintain a stiff upper lip. At least she's one with the Force now.

She was my first crush, and one cool lady. Now her mother has just died. What a year.

Of all the untimely deaths in 2016, this was the one that hit me hard.

Dude I know. Really sad. When I heard "Hope." I almost lost it.

Oh, I was lucky, Key! I saw Rogue One a few days before we lost her. Had it been after, I don't think I would have left the theater with dry eyes!
