That the trailer would've been released today. Either attached to the Sony release of Resident Evil, or McConaughey's Gold. Both movies open today. Both seem like pretty logical movies to promote The Dark Tower.

I think its all part of Sony's plan. They will delay the trailer for as long as they can to build up the hunger. At this point the Trailer is the man in black. The fans are Roland wandering the Mohaine Desert trying to catch Walter(Trailer). And Sony is loving it. They like seeing us suffer. I think ther strategy is keeping this movie as mysteries as possible. They will milk the wait for as long as thet can. They want this movie to be a surprise.

I like it!

I NOW hope that they release the trailer AFTER the movie's theatrical run. I don't mean a trailer for the dvd/blu-ray release, I mean that the actual trailer should be released three years from now.

Really doubt this is the reason why we haven't gotten a trailer yet.

Someone (and I don't remember where exactly) made mention that there could be three trailers...one for each main character (Jake, Roland, and Walter/The Man in Black).

Now, that would be one simple yet slick marketing decision.
