Dude, it's almost February; where's the marketing campaign for this film? Will anyone go see it, besides us, at this point? Thank god this movie doesn't have a budget.

It is set for a release in Juli.
Expect the marketing to get rolling in mid February
Super Bowl or February 19th, the trailer will be one of the two dates. Trust me they have this figured out. Now some Marvel stuff has teasers but those are very expensive movies and more anticipated by the masses so they have a teaser then a trailer, DT will only get the trailer.

It has to be Super Bowl or February 19th. No other date makes sense strategically. February 19th gives them five solid months of trailers, clips, posters, tv spots and more to advertise the film, which is more than enough. Sony only has one slot at the Super Bowl, so I think it won't be then because of Spider-Man: Homecoming, but it could be. After all, does Spider-Man need anymore advertising? Sony could kick it off big time with a Dark Tower spot, leaving people hungry for more.
