This should have been animated like Avatar. Tell the story over 7 seasons. Create all the effects and have the limitless world you had in the books and loved by all. Now it's going to end up like Avatar, the movie.
....We all know how that turned out.
I think if they went animated it wouldn't be as pleasing as live adaption. The source material was rich usuing fabulous locations and characters. Most would love seeing it come to life and would be disappointed by anything less.
shareIf the movie is a disappointment (to the pleasure of the naysayers), I still say it deserved a live-action adaption.
But is this is going to end up like a movie that didn't have anywhere near this much talent? Not impossible, though it would be a surprise.
