I for one would love to see kevin james in a serious role. With his transformation into an mma fighter for this movie I had hoped that this could be the vehicle for him. I hope his little forgettable comedy works out for him and for the paycheck. Not as if he doesn't have it in him to actually try for once in his career.

agreed. Haven't seen any advance screening or anything... but this was the first Kevin James movie isaw a preview for and thought it didn't look so bad

Yeah, I've actually heard some people who've attended a screening they said that HCTB was pretty good.

He is a comedian, doing comedy is kind of his thing. No "serious" MMA movie has done well. I mean if Mamet can't do it know one can.

I don't understand the mentality that somebody in comedy isn't "trying." In my opinion comedy is a lot more difficult to pull off than drama and at the very least it shouldn't be looked down upon as a lesser genre of film.
