nice movie and cast, Salma Hayek was absent though

I liked this movie, it have a message and despite the typical marital arts theme of the hero making their way up to the great one, the cast was really amazing and made the movie worth watching it, except for Salma Hayek, I like her but she was really absent during the whole movie, not a script thing, she had her time on screen, perhaps she wasn't the ideal one for this role..what do you think? what was your favorite character of the movie?
mine was Marty the music teacher, he really was perfect at it :)

This is a Happy Madison production. Women are usually underwritten.

I don't know much about the producers, but I think it have something to do with casting crew rather production, she really wasn't the one for this role, IMO it needed more funny kind of woman.

I had no problem with her here. Maybe I am biased because I think she is stunningly beautiful, but she was fine in this slightly above average comedy. I mean, it ain't Shakespeare.

I Know, she is beautiful of course, well, let's put it that I'm just blown away by the performance of Rosario Dawson in zookeeper, she put her touch in this role although it wasn't Shakespeare either, so comparing to her, I didn't even feel like Salma Hayek was in this movie.
