Then been surprised with a 60k fight of the night bonus... Go the distance, win the last round like Rocky, would have made the movie way better IMO.

That ending has been done though and was expected. This ending leaves everyone leaving happy and since this isn't an super serious drama, but a "feel good" family movie, it works.

I half expected him to lose the fight and then at the end and when hope seemed to be lost the UFC or someone would've stepped in to donate the money that the school needed.

A boat that floats on water can also sink in it.

No. The way the movie should have ended is that he lost the fight and then the school district announces that because the accountant was fired, they saved and recovered enough money to pay the music teacher's salary.
