Doesn't anyone else think Rich could've made a better cameo?

There was potential for a good cameo because after all, didn't Rich teach math at a high school in Ohio at one point? He could've showed up to tell Scott that he wholeheartedly supported him since he was a teacher at one point or something.

i kept thinking of mr. franklin.
would've been cool if he'd have made an appearance.

He did, he was the one who submitted and then was telling the ref he was just playing.

I agree 100%. He should have been in this movie. There's no excuse for them to not have him in it. Mr. Franklin popped into my head a countless number of times. It's a damn shame...
