Scott Voss
So the main character's name is Scott Voss...
And there was an actor, who played "Tattooed Man at Factory" named Scott Voss.
Weird coincidence? Direct reference? What the hell?

Was wondering the same thing and have seen no info about it... Interesting.
shareThis might sound dumb, but since this was a Kevin James movie and Sandler exec produced it...I thought about Voss water in Grown Ups that had both James and Sandler. The Voss water was one of the bigger jokes in GU...thought it might have an ongoing joke/relation between the movies.
shareI also thought it was a play on the Voss water joke from Grown Ups, but then when I saw that there was a dude in the movie who name is actually Scott Voss I thought that maybe this movie was based on a true story or something.
A boat that floats on water can also sink in it.share
I mean, Voss Water is a real thing, so Idk. It's possible that "Scott Voss" is a friend of theirs and does acting and stuff so they made fun of the voss water and threw him in this movie? Idk, there doesn't seem to be like... a true story behind this.
shareYeah I was a bit disappointed to not see anything about it under the IMDb trivia section for this movie.

I saw this too. Made me wonder if it all was based on a true story.
shareFrom the movie connections:
In "The King of Queens" (1998) in second season ,episode 23 a locksmith's van passes behind Kevin James. The name of the locksmith is Scott Voss - the same as movie's main character.
I noticed this when I was watching some old episodes the other day, Then I started to think... He broke an "armbar lock"??? in the end... Hmmmmm.... Great MMA nickname, the "Scott the Locksmith Voss".
You keep a tuna fresh... people will keep comin' back.
