Why do they make Indians look so overly desperate (Amit’s character) and overly respectful. Like everyone saying “sir” over and over. They Always paint India as if the British just left and they have nothing. I’m so sick of it the same ass shit in Hollywood’s portrayal of Indians.
shareIf it is a true story than it needs to happen the way it happened. If they lived in a well off area...show that. If they came from poor areas (it is a fact there is still a lot of poverty in India) then that is the way it should be shown in the film.

If you are claiming they portrayed it inaccurately then that is a point. If it is accurate than...good.
