... Always gets me. Especially knowing what happens in the end :'(
shareWe just rewatched the movie this past weekend. I love that scene! It always leaves me melted in a puddle of tears. I absolutely love how gently Stoick woos Valka. It's surprising, given his size and normal manner, that suddenly he has the lightest of touch and is completely aware of Valka's emotions in the moment. It speaks deeply of his love for her. The artists did such an amazing job with the expressions on the characters' faces. They communicate so many complex emotions.
