How did Ben Logan get past airport security? For him to meet his daughter at the gate at the end of the movie, he would have had to get through airport security looking like he just survived a bombing - which he had. Can you imagine? Also, there surely would have been some kind of residue from the explosives. Just one of many implausible scenes in the movie.

It's an action movie, it's a work of fiction, there doesn't have to be any plausibility in something that is not real. Common sense is not very common, is it? Nope.

He was called to the counter by a different name, right? A name that his daughter recognized as being an alias of his. So he used that alias to get back in the country.
shareGood point. Most major airports have bomb sniffing dogs -- they'd be all over his plastic explosive coated hands. Some have chemical swabs they brush your hand with to check for residue. Not to mention the disheveled appearance, and paying in cash at the last minute.
