Ancient Aliens Debunk joke

I came across an idiot who thinks he debunked a tv shows whose main THEORY is based on do Extraterrestrials exists , Do they have a role in our society . Yeah the show makes small mistakes on stating what something is made of . Thats not debunking . If you want to debunk something . IT cant be a theory . Awesome Show . Easier to believe than evolution non sense .

Jason Whatshisname? He takes this stuff way too seriously.

If you're talking about Jason Martell, I agree with you.

Im not sure who he means, Chris White made that AA Debunk docu.
But Jason Martell is a slippery fellow, he seems to like looking like a stereotypical slippery salesman, which makes it hard to perceive him as genuine.

But the Ancient Aliens Debunked docu is also dubious, since on one hand, he offers more rational explanations about things they show in AA, but on the other hand, he also comes out and promotes being a Christian in the same docu, which makes his docu more of a rebuttal towards the AA dismissing of religion as Christians believe it.

I skip reading the bottom line, because it is usually some lame signature.

Well, unfortunately while everyone does have the right to freedom of speech, they seem to think they're the only ones that can use that right. It's best to ignore them. Besides, a few years ago Pope Benedict VI said that one can believe that there's life on other planets and still be a Christian.

Are you talking about the 3 hour video on Youtube? I watched it this week and never got this impression. Maybe it's in other videos on his channel but the one documentary was pretty neutral. I didn't even know he was Christian until I read your post.

reply

Yeah i meant that video, but he doesnt flat out say "become a Christian" etc., nor does he connect his video to Christianity or makes it a thing to compare AA to Christianity, but he mentions a couple of times that he is Christian at the start or end.

So it doesnt really affect the docu much, but a lot of people have "called him out" on being Christian and dismiss any explanation he gives based on this.
Because its kinda like having a teacher who explains to you the workings of planets and orbits and finding out that he believes in Flat Earth, the two usually dont get along very well.

Maybe i did say it a bit too simplified about the docu, i didnt meant to say that i dismiss his theories, but i dont subscribe to his mindset because im not religious.
I made a thread about the debunk docu some years ago and i tried to tell people to just take from it whatever you see fit, as opposed to the AA explanations (since nobody really has proof, we are left to choose to believe things or not), but that thread devolved into personal attacks and word twisting like usual.
