OK, so is this song public domain? Because there's no way the Trammps, or whoever owns the rights to the song, would allow it to be used in that context.
shareI highly doubt it is public domain. Why is it so unbelievable for a one hit wonder band to not wanna make money off a 40-year-old song? Besides, most bands back then did not own the rights to their own songs, the record companies did. Hell, even the Beatles didn't even own their own catalog.
