Hmmmm nah I disagree actually a very good actor and singer and seems genuinely nice bloke. This Film was just auful though i do agree with that!!

reply

Disagree. I thought he was pretty good in the role, and I thought he was an actor, never even knew he was in a band first, didn't care for or pay any attention to any "boy band" ever... well, except that really funny spoof one they did in a Simpsons episode.

'yvan eht nioj'

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!

reply

Lol... "yvan eht nioj' - hmmmmmm, there's a subliminal message in there somewhere. Wait a minute! Subliminal.... Sub.... the navy uses subs! I think I'll join the navy! Woo Hoo!

I disagree, I think Justin Timberlake's acting was really good in this, he's certainly much better than most other singers who have attempted to act over the years. In fact, I actually think he is a better actor than even some of the "professional actors" who act for a living, believe me I have seen some so called "actors" who are worse at acting than Justin is.

reply

Yeah he's shockingly bad. I could understand it, if he had some secondary skill like martial arts or if he had a bodybuilder body or something.

If the movie was about music it would maybe make sense. But here he's just a really average actor.

I am usually very generous and forgiving, but this movie bombed in my book. It looked like a James Bond flick with the novelty of currency = time. The time keeper were Matrix characters.

Once the novelty of the currency = time wore off, it went south for me.... and just to show you how forgiving I can be, I was the one who gave 'The Beast of Yukka Flats' a rating of 5!

Smoke me a kipper. I'll be back for breakfast

Who cares about what he started his career? You know, Christoph Waltz did silly childrens programs before he got bigger parts. Timberlake was/is also a singer. Who cares? His performance was solid - and imho spot on.
