Andy was on the new "Getting Doug With High" video podcast the other day. Basically Doug invites any of his comedian friends who smoke weed every week.

Pretty funny stuff. For some reason I never pegged Andy as a stoner, most of the comics who appear on here I always suspected were, Andy I think was the first one to surprise me.
I also can't say I've ever pegged Andy as someone who tokes but I guess it wouldn't surprise me
I a) haven't watched this yet and b) have never watched any Getting Doug with High, but get the sense that you have watched this series before
Any significance to it saying getting Doug with drunk for the first time the logo comes up with Dougs name?
I only ask on the very slight possibility that maybe if he's likes someone and wants them on the show being someone who drinks is OK? I mean they do always joke that Andy likes to drink on the show

While I'm not sure I get the sense he has a drinking problem(though that could really just depend on what you consider a problem) I do get the sense that those jokes are based on a level of truth
He seems like someone who probably drinks on a nearly daily basis but doesn't have it get in the way of his life
Basically just slightly exaggerated for laughs, and I would say that goes for Conan's vanity as well
And of course this is merely my assumptions based on appearance and those jokes...in other words it's based on nothing
I recall Paul T. Tompkins, whose a comedian known for how much he enjoys drinking, mention that of all his comedian friends Andy Richters the only one who can outdrink him. I remember him mentioning Andy ordering scotch after scotch and Tompkins was amazed that Andy appeared to be unfazed.
