I get two weeks off per year but my job is less complicated than trying to write for and film a television show involving sketches, a studio audience and celebrities.
The big moments are gonna come. You can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts.
Not to mention most of Conan's hiatuses are not really vacations. He will either be preparing for week of shows on location, taping remotes or other material for the show, or doing guest spots on other shows or commercials
