I Miss the Old Days

It's funny. I thought it would be great if Andy returned. I was wrong. I think Conan did his best shows solo. I miss the segments with Max and Joel. Those were great. I haven't seen that one tall skinny guy they had on for yrs. What happened to him? He was fantastic. Always playing a ticked off guy.

It is a bit eye opening following Andy on twitter. I didn't realize he was so left wing. He's a bit fanatical about it.

The late night show with Conan used to be required viewing for me. Now I hardly watch this show. It doesn't seem as fun or reckless as the late night show. It seems so safe and they try to be so PC it is uncomfortable to watch at times.

Brian McCann (who looks like an Irish version of the late great Jewish film-critic Gene Siskel to me) is the one to whom you're referring in the last four sentences of your first paragraph. I agree completely with what you said (typed actually). This show is better than Conan's short-stint at 'The Tonight Show', but pales compared to his first hosting gig at 'Late Night'.

'The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson', 'Late Night with David Letterman', 'Late Show with David Letterman' and 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien' ARE the four best late-night talk-shows of ALL-TIME. The others don't even come close to these four.

I'll let you know when I come-up with a new signature, .

I'd always roll my eyes when applause was required for any gay agenda he'd bring up. Gotten him nowhere....
