Jason Segel/Rashida Jones rom-com

Would anyone else besides me actually want to watch that movie? I get that it was supposed to be cheesy, but I like cheesy romantic-comedies. It looked really cute.

with the palm trees behind them. one of the best hidden lines in the movie

Yes, I would have liked it because Jason Segel is a genuinely funny actor and even a horrendous clicheed movie like the mock film they were sowing would likely include some great sight gags and one-liners from the great Segel. However, I do find Mila Kunis to be more attractive than Rashida Jones.

I did enjoy the very end where they're watching the outtakes and JT's like "Oh look they're having fun making the movie so it must be good!"

reply

If it took itself seriously as a rom com, then no. But a parody flick? Sure, lol.

reply

that was a great addition to this movie, it was amusing as intended. no i would not want to see that as its own movie. ever.

I hated the idea of Segel and Jones together, and if you've seen 'I Love You, Man', you'll know why.

reply

Aw, that's what made it even funnier.

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

If you wanna see a romcom parody riffing on the genre with funny actors, I give you "They Came Together" starring Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd.
