I loved Jessica troughout whole show, and I loved how powerful she is and how she threat her friends and people who surround her. But last episode got me thinking, when Zane offers her merge she says NO, and I would be okay with it if she didnt said that while she knew she gonna leave the firm. Thats what bothers me, she would leave Harvey and Louis and firm to fall, she didnt knew the two of them can handle that situation, and Zane offer would be their last chance to live and she said NO :( anyone else thinks something about this ?

She didn't want to merge with him because she already made the decision to leave. She wasn't going to leave with her name being docked off the practice. This way she leaves on her own terms and her practice now remains in the hands of Harvey and Louis, who she trusts. Plus, Harvey and Louis already handled the issue with the client offering Zane a deal. He just wasn't aware of it yet because it happened right after the court room scene.

@luz: She wants to live her life. And she wants to walk away from the firm life, at least for now,lol.

But I still can’t believe she stepped down!

She really is leaving the show. Suits films in Toronto and she wants to be able to live in Los Angeles full time. Plus, she's already been cast for the second season of The Catch on ABC. She's definitely leaving.

She's definitely leaving, Scott but the door is open for guest appearances.

I get that the actors know the show is most likely coming to an end soon, but signing on to The Catch isn't the best decision. It wasn't very good in Season 1 and I don't see Season 2 doing much better. It only got the go ahead for another season because Shonda Rhimes created it.
