will the characters from the murder case ever appear again?

the death row guy rachel was helping - I got the feeling we hadn't heard the last about that, and the girls father will turn out to be the one who actually killed her (as of yet, the killer is still at large in the story)

also, Kevin? was hoping we'd see him again, since they all became good friends. not mentioned once so far

@pur: Good question. I don't think he did it. But it would be nice to hear about him and Kevin.

The death row character could easily come back to help Rachel make her case in front of the ethics committee. Kevin could make the odd appearance, but I don't really see a reason as to why they should bring back the murdered girl's father. He arguably played his part out when he admitted to paying off that drug abuser.
