Omg. Shameful to be associated with ID4

I can’t believe this sequel was made this way. You can’t take a quintessential American classic and do this to it. I mean I understand world together etc but this is a movie. I understand you needed producers from countries like China but cmon man it didn’t need to be destroyed removing all the Americana in it.

The epic American themes throughout the movie were gone.

Everyone acted so badly and the story and premise were laughable. The final pieces were a joke.

The premise of the white orb was just so bad. And the school bus scene fighting the queen was like wow. Who the hell directed this and thought “this is so good”.

One would hope studios realize that some movies don’t need sequels and if you want to make one keep the original aspects of it. The quintessential Americana like the Bill Pullman speech with “fourth of July will no longer be known as Americas Independence Day but the day the whole world spoke as one “ etc. keep the soul of the movie which is totally gone here.
