they said what happened to pretty much everyone else, but either i missed it or they never once mentioned what happened to david's ex-wife? at the end of the first one, it looked like they were gonna get back together. in this one, it's like she didn't even exist and he had a new love interest. anyone know what happened to her?

Very lazy writing happened to her.

That is the answer I think applies to everyone who is not there. Or even brought by like the Doctor. Coma? And he never blinked in the first movie or see a chest move? Coma doesn't stop breathing or pulse. Once I knew Brent Spiner was back, the question of writing already raised a flag on this movie. They may as well made it a spoof film.

she age horribly and gotten too fugly for a recast, they need a older easier on the eyes actress for the sequels.

First of all Margaret Colin, even at 58 is still gorgeous, and second of all Charlotte Gainsbourg, who plays David's new love interest, is absolutely hideous, so your theory is *beep*

He actually said that Charlotte Gainsbourg is "easier on the eyes" than Margaret Colin...of course he's high, he needs to get a new drug dealer because the one he has obviously sold him a bad stash. Either that or he's blind.

I agree, no one wants to see dried up old hags in movies (or real life)

Which is why there needs to be a law that requires women who have hit the wall to wear a burka.

Why should the rest of us have to suffer the awful sight of women aging badly.
