A producer must've broken in to try teaching himself how to edit a movie

I can't wrap my brain around what happened here, but every top level position in each field required to make this movie failed (except CGI, which while there was too much of it as per usual, actually did a decent job).

Top 3 worst things about this movie:

Music: obviously scored (and mixed and re-recorded) by people who have no idea what they're doing or what music should be doing

Editing: I didn't notice it at first, but I'd say the entire second half of the film was edited because the studio said "you have one day to complete the film". I"ve never seen such bad editing. Ever.

Acting: Liam did okay with what he had, but EVERYTHING else was horrendous. Jeff Goldblum was fed lines to make him sound Goldblum-ish, and then at the very end, when the writers couldn't think of anything for his character to say, they made the girl tell him to not say anything at all (clever). Bill Pullman tried to pull out a speech from his ass and couldn't, but then tries again a bit later, and it fails miserably.

I usually enjoy Roland Emmerich's epic cheesiness, but this was a total disaster on nearly every level.
