Let's say they want to make Independence Day 3 and there's enough money to include Will Smith. Would you cast him?

Yea he was announced dead but would you write something to add him in?

Nope. Plenty of other people to take the lead I'd say. Could even happen 50-70 years after this one, in theory.

They got the tech from the orb. They're taking the fight to them the day after this film ended. The movie will be called 5th July the Day After.

I was quite content that Will Smith stepped out of this. He's ... not my favourite.
(Even though it meant we had to deal with Jessie Usher's pouty posturing.)

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
