Vivica Fox *spoiler*

Her death was fcked up it was funny.

She fell in between tall buildings collapsing, dayum!

reply

In a way, I was glad to see her die. They didn't use a lame rescued-from-the-top-of-the-building-cliche.

Get on the scale son! Get off the scale.

True.

reply

Yes and I know I was supposed to feel something when she died but there was nothing. As another forum member said, you feel nothing for those characters and that's a problem.

reply

Yeah she gets killed off and the movie just moves on not caring for her character.

reply

Was her death ever mentioned again?

Get on the scale son! Get off the scale.

reply

Not even her son seemed to feel much when she died.

Working in the movie business since -92

I don't expect my answer to be seen but I have to say: WUUUUUUUT ?!!!! This scene is a cliché on top of a cliché on top of a cliché... His mother's forsaken on the roof, alone with ONE patient... what do you know, her son gets there in time to call for help... and of course the mother saves the patient first, dying a hero before the eyes of her son... I mean, seriously ?!

WTF NO WAY they killed both of Dylan's parents? That's *beep* up!!! ?

reply

Her death was *beep* up. Why even have her in the movie if you're gonna disrespect her like that..

reply

They probably brought her back, saw how hideous her face has gotten through all that plastic surgery, and then rewrote the script to kill her off

If Ari Gold saw Chappie he would say:
"Chappie makes Elysium look like Citizen ƒvcking Kane"

reply

Yep, she was a stripper until what her 40s and then found the time to become a doctor only to die?

reply

Slightly OT, but WTF happened to Vivica Fox's face??? She used to be a beautiful woman, but now she kinda looks a little like Jay Leno and Carrot Top with a deep tan. Somewhat disturbing...

reply

If she didn't survive Sharknado, she wasn't surviving this!

On 9/11, not a single person was rescued from the roof. In fact the doors to the top of the Trade Towers were locked tight and the electronics to unlock them were apparently severed. Had I been up there, I would have done everything I could to break the roof door open. Even though there was a massive smoke situation inside the tower, and around the edges, the top of the towers would provide at the very least--gaps of fresh air. Then the only problem is signaling a police helicopter to pick me up before unlikely building collapse...

Vivica A Fox went out like a champ and told us that the good guys don't always win. Who knew 20 years after the War of 1996 she would find her doom.

reply

too much smoke to even get close to landing on 9/11

I must admit I did guffaw when she died, it was just so over the top and ludicrous. Her story arc in these films is hilarious... she goes from a hooker with a heart to a respected nurse who falls off the top of a hospital building that's just been nuked by insects.
