And both are deemed largely unnecessary sequel's. Maybe this is a wake up call for stupid wood?

It's made double it's budget worldwide... That's not exactly an epic flop. Just sayin.

And at the end of the day, if they end up making a profit, who really cares whether that profit was domestic or overseas??

Ghostbusters was a reboot. Fans seem to wish they got a sequel instead.

Resurgence took most of its box office from outside USA (75%) - so while it was considered a flop at home it made enough money to turn a profit elsewhere.

The difference is the guys from this movie actually tried to make a good movie while the makers from ghostbusters tried to piss all over the fanbase and show them the finger...

And ghostbusters is much much worse...
