As turgid as the original film may be, can you possibly imagine how app alling a Trump version could be. The Pres flies out to save the day? Mind you his delusion would probably carry it. Oh Good God, who will darn our socks?

I'm no Trump fan, but he would handle an alien war as well (or as badly) as any other world leader.

Hillary, on the underhand, would have sold out humanity (at rock bottom prices) without a second thought. Then she'd lie about it after getting caught before trying to sell out the aliens.

Why is it that Trump fans tend to start with, "I'm no Trump fan BUT..."

And yes, you showed yourself as a Trump fan when you couldn't resist a jab at Hillary, with a followup of the projected accusations Trump has made his voters believe. There is no reason to assume Hillary would fare any worse (or indeed, any differently) than any other president in such a scenario. I can't believe how many people actually swallowed Trump's line about Hillary being so crooked, when Trump has a track record many times worse. Hook, line and sinker.
