Useless effort, can't believe the original filmmakers were behind this sequel

They actually could have had 2 good movies if they would have left out the campy acting, dialog, cheering, and trying to make it funny. I will never understand the reasons behind that.

So much of the first plot was just rehashed into the second that you wonder just how much effort was actually put into writing the script. Both movies were wasted opportunities.

actually, i rewatchted the first one recently and this one already was overly pacifist crap. so unbearable i tossed the bluray midway through. it was only 5 bucks. and i think nostalgia is clouding people's vision concerning the first movie.
