Criminally underrated movie. A worthy sequel.

I was very surprised by how good this turned out to be.. it definitely felt part of the ID universe and I even found Liam Hemsworth to be engaging (this was the first film where he was watchable for me)

Jeff Goldblum was entertaining, though he could have done with more screentime.. and I thought the pacing was pretty good. Brent Spiner was very entertaining too.

Overall I thought this was a pretty decent sequel, deserving of a 6.5 rating or higher.. but 5.2? (wtf?) ID was never supposed to be subtle or artistic, it's an action movie through and through and that's what we got here. The end sequence with the "mother" alien was pretty damn entertaining to me.

I completely agree.

I especially loved the alien robot. I thought she was a neat character. And I liked how they set up a potential sequel. I'd be really interested in seeing it.
