The math doesn't add up. Okun has been in a coma for 7300 days, which if you take 20 years times 365 days you get 7300. But this doesn't account for leap years in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016. So this movie actually takes place on June 29th instead of July 4th.
...or so the giant producers thought. The script sucks. The films sucks and so does the acting.Jeff Golblum is the only thing good in this hunk of crap. It's a teenager *beep* fest at best.
Im sure its just an expression. Its July 4th 20 years later. A normal person is going to say 7300 days, hes not going to account for leap years and stuff.
Have you ever noticed that the people who say "DC is for adults and Marvel is for kids", are kids?
No one says 7300 days! They would say 20 years. The fact that they wrote that line at all makes no sense. The fact that they got it wrong, particularly for a scientist who took the time to calculate the number of days, is just extra dumb.
Yes it would have indeed, if just to justify why his character is even there after 20 years because really he Brent Spiner served no purpose in the story at all. He was unnecessary and useless as many of the ensemble character's proved to be this time around except the younger cast as pilot's and the President's daughter.
Where as in the 1996 movie they struck a very good balance with three leads and ensemble, here in the sequel many returning roles were not needed again or basically were useless. The running time at 120 minutes was too short and would have benefitted more character relationship-development's and I didn't like the film's editing much either.
Nothing is as it seems, nothing is just one thing and nothing is ever just over there;
