What deserted town served as the backdrop?

It looks like a real, deserted town served as the action backdrop for, 'Red: Werewolf Hunter'. In some ways it resembles the same Nevada town used in the 1984, RED DAWN. At first I thought it might be the Universal Studios backlot studio of simulated city blocks and towns, but that's not it.

Does anyone know where the movie was filmed?

More than likely filmed in Canada. This movie theater looks a lot the exterior for the Talon from the TV series "Smallville," if not just a little run down.

It's a backlot in Toronto.
