Did you catch the message at the very end?

"Life here I come" as the camera pans to the smashed up mini before the credits rolled.

Ouch

reply

Does it mean Mavis is ready to stop chasing unrealistic dreams and start living a genuine life, do you think?

reply

No, it means she's broken.

reply

It's weird because the broken bumper signifies something broken but "life, here I come." signifies a new beginning. I was always confused why if life was about to begin, why she looked so miserable.

reply

I'd say it actually means the complete opposite, Destroyer.

Troll the respawn, Jeremy.

reply

I think you're right. Her facial expression said she had no intention of starting fresh. She will likely move on from Buddy but will wind up fixating on some other person or situation instead of working on herself. I also felt it was mega *beep* that she left without even saying goodbye to Matt. Matt is lucky she left though, she'd destroy his life.

reply

Yep. She's going to go right back to the *beep* life she had before, where she lives in her own vapid, depressed existence, believing she's living the right life.

She was so close to a real epiphany, realizing that she needs to change, but the the annoying girl who idolizes her had to go and ruin that with her incredibly immature views on life.

I don't feel enough for you to cry.

Oh well.

reply

She is a waste case. Her entire life will be a mess like this.
