More of the same?
In short, are Final Destination 5 just more of the same? Exact same concept as FD 1-4, just with changes in characters and opening event? Or do it actually add some new?

They are a series written with the same antagonist that operates on a variable but reliable formula.
Clearly they are going to be similar. However because they have differences and characters make different choices. I'd personally scold anyone calling them the "same" which as a word doesn't mean "similar".
