Is everyone dead?

From every single FD movie? Kimberly and Thomas lived in FD2, but were later said to be dead. The ending of FD3 isn't clarifying, but it can be presumed that they all died. Does this mean every character from the FD series is in fact dead?

Unless I'm missing someone, and we're only talking about the movies, not the books. Yes.

My favorite Final Destination is the 4th – DEAL with it!

Craig has said the FD3 characters are dead, I think. I'm pretty he sure Kimberly and Thomas have been officially stated as dead by Craig or someone else.

Their deaths are in a sequence. You see, Death was tying up all loose ends. Other one sees the vision and they die. You cant run away from it.

Sure you can, Hunting. Thomas and Kimberly were only said to be dead in a tiny optional feature in a special feature viewing of the third film, which by the way never proves Wendy and her friends died either (her premonition told her exactly what not to do after the subway crash, which she was shown to survive; it's also likely she got her friends to crouch down because she saw the positions they would have died in too).

Seriously, I don't know why the producers would think we'd want to keep watching if the inevitable conclusion was that every character would always die in the end. Suckiest conclusion ever, that would be. Plus, in every movie except the fifth, I always make a little bend in the plot and spare a few characters for myself, or it'd be too much of a downer.

I know, right?

And I mean especially in FD5 it's like you watch there and you're like, "OK. She's the first one to go! OK. Down. 3 more to go..."

I just rewatched the series today. I like to believe that Kimberly and Thomas are still alive (and married to each other) somewhere.

I never saw a special feature that said they were dead, so I like to think that it didn't happen. XD

I personally disregard the newspaper clipping of Kimberly and Thomas, even though I otherwise adore FD3. Not only was it a slipshot way of removing them from the continuity but it committed the second foul of using up the perfectly good idea of death-by-woodchipper. Imagine how awesome it would be to see a character get ground by a woodchipper on-screen- and then remember that we won't because it's already been "used" for Kimberly and Thomas.

In my headcanon Kimberly and Thomas get married and have a child, either beating death via new life or running from it for as long as they can.

Maybe I'm too much romantic but i still think Kim & Burke are alive. I don't think alternative endings should count

reply

The newspaper can be seen in the background of the original film..the dvd just allows us to read it..they are dead..in death there are no accedents no coincidence and no escapes

I think Kim and Burke are alive. It's possible that the people from Final Destination 3 are dead but they could still be alive. I hope we get a Final Destination 6 and it explains it.

I think the same thing

Kimberly (the A.J. Cook chick) and the cop in Final Destination 2 were the only 2 that survived. I think it is implied that all died at the end in the train in Final Destination 3.
