Do they explain in this one why people are able to have premonitions?
That's the only thing that kinda jars me about this series so far, I'm surprised the first (which is the most serious one) never explained or hinted at why.

I don't remember the source but I remembering reading that they (the screenwriters, etc) did have/develop a vague idea as to why. It was more like a "glitch" that they would have such premonitions. However, this was only an idea and they didn't decide to canonize it (i.e., have it explained in the films). Sorry I can't remember the source!
