Career-best performance from Portman

atalie Portman plays Jacqueline Kennedy and delivers, without question, the best performance of her career. Adopting Mrs. Kennedy’s breathy voice and socialite accent, Ms. Portman dissolves into the role. She occupies almost every frame of Larraín’s film, and we are captivated every step of the way. Jackie is not a biopic, but rather a glimpse into a few terrible days in Jackie Kennedy’s life; days filled with many questions and few answers; days where she washes her husband’s blood from her hair and sets about enshrining the growing legend of her late husband. http://www.cutprintfilm.com/reviews/jackie/

Are you from her PR-team or the film's PR-team? Pretty obvious. Natalie Portman CAN'T act and that is a fact.

I remember seeing "Leon: The Professional" with my husband when it first came out, and we were so taken by the young girl's performance. We couldn't take our eyes off of her. Thankfully, she has gone on to prove herself a brilliant actor. I love everything she has done. She's gold, IMHO, and a lot of other people's also...

I think that is still her best role. Her other stuff sucks.

Really? Even in "Closer"?

She is the type of actress who typically is very dependent on the type of direction she's given. The times she's worked with great directors they have gotten incredible performances from her. Other times, with less than stellar directors, she's given less than stellar performances

She had aged oddly, she is ugly on the poster for this movie.
