Glad to hear it's good but I don't want Portman to win this year.

I know it sounds selfish but it's for a good cause. Amy Adams should win this year.

For Nocturnal Animals?

I can't help but think politics will be a huge part of the decision of giving another Oscar to Portman.
I want Emma Stone or Amy Adams to win. Emma seems to be absolutely incredible in La La Land, and Amy is way overdue a win. Annette Bening is overdue aswell, but I think Amy is most likely to win.

How about we see everything first? We can't just say Portman doesn't deserve it cause 99% of us haven't even seen the performance.
Also, just a prediction I wouldn't be at all shocked if Viola Davis wins this year because of the race controversy last year.

Viola is campaigning for the supporting Oscar. Sure win.

Yea no controversy there I hope.

I actually hope Noamie Harris is nominated for best supporting actress and wins.

Portman, Stone and Adams (for both "Arrival" and "Nocturnal Animals") are incredible, but honestly, even if it's a faint chance, this should be Isabelle Huppert's.

Portman's performance in this was incredible - so deeply complex and nuanced. I would be very happy to see her win again - as much as I loved Adams in Arrival as well, I thought Portman was better.

I will have to wait to see her performance. I can only say that her accent annoyed me in the trailer. I guess it's hard for me to see and believe Portman as Jackie. She looks nothing like her and Jackie's image was very famous. I'm thinking Portman may blow me out of the water, though.
