It doesn't seem like he's in here at all, do they explain what happened to him? If so, please let me know!

They address everyone from the first movie at the start of this. They have one scene with Maury talking to someone about giving evidence and wanting protection and that's it.

After the pixeled his face and mentioned witness relocation, I figured he'd pop up again the movie...guess not.

Perhaps Jerry Stiller decided he didn't want to reprise his role in this movie. He is credited for the movie, but probably only because they show his picture when they explain about Maury's involvement & witness protection.

It's clearly a scene shot for Z2 since he looks a lot older than the first movie.
