Agreed..... I'd give it a 6.5/10
I perceived the opening 1/2 hour as mostly self parody and not as funny (and obviously original/surprising) as the first movie. From then, I started to enjoy the parody of other movies like "The Davinci Code" and "Silence of the Lambs".
Laughed out load more times than most comedies I watch and some cameos like Kiefer Sutherland, and Sting were pretty funny. I agree, if you like their usual style, Wilson, Stiller and Ferrell hit the mark again.
I only watched this today for the first time and the opening scene with Justin Bieber left me flat. Comedy is all about timing, and given events since the movie came out, I would have loved to have seen Justin, in the middle of his death scene, tear off a lapel microphone, walk off stage, and perhaps complain that he had to share an on site van with Billy Zane who was cutting his toenails in bed....... or something similar.
